Johanna Neumann joined the staff of Maryland PIRG
in June 2006. Prior to that, she worked to reduce communities’ exposure to toxics, with the Environmental Health Education
Center at the University of Maryland
School of Nursing in Baltimore and at Toxics Action
Center in Boston. She graduated from Tufts University
in 2001 with a degree in biology and environmental studies and completed Green
Corps, the Field School for Environmental Organizing, in
2002.
